Replicator races are, almost by definition, extremely hard to completely neutralize. The ARG was designed by Samantha Carter to combat the Pegasus Galaxy Asuran Replicators, from an idea dreamed up by Jack O'Neill in SG-1. The weapon emits a directional energy pulse that disrupts the subspace links that bind individual Replicator cells, reducing the target to a pile of dust.  Also seen in use in the Stargate tv movie Ark of Truth, and makes another brief appearance as a 'short range sonic weapon' in episode 111 of the series Sanctuary.

This black metal hero prop, with sturdy functional extending stock, has grey and copper details, an illuminating translucent barrel insert, and additional lights.
