Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angelus' Sword (Sword of the Vituous Knight)
made from scratch movie prop weapon
The Sword of the Virtuous Knight was used to turn the demon Acathla to stone. Remaining embedded for millenia, the sword was finally removed by Angelus in his attempt to send the world to a hell dimension, and to duel with Buffy to the death. The sword was seen in the Season 2's two part fianale Becoming. Most of the swords used in the series were based off Spanish 'wall hanger' swords, but this weapon may have been custom, as no match for it has been located by Buffy fans. I created the hilt and hand-guard from scratch, and added a 3cm rapier blade.
