Blakes 7 (TV Series 1978), Aluminium Scorpio Clipgun
made from scratch movie prop
The Clipgun was the Scorpio crew's standard sidearm during Series 4, and featured replaceable ammo clips with different functions. The aluminium shrouds were made by a friend who produced a number of working laser-quest guns. I machined the muzzle, barrel and scope on the lathe from aluminium tube. All the other parts I laser cut from various thickness' of acrylic sheet. The gun has a working trigger and the clip is removable and held in with magnets.
