Recently "discovered" alternate design of McCoy's medical scanner. First seen in the "Naked Time" and "Charlie X", it shows-up again later in multiple episodes. Based on McCoy's medical scanner, it has a toggle switch on the side which activates a small light that shines through a lens at the top of the prop. Custom-made kit from machined aluminum and cast resin by Nicks Dad, build by SCOTTY, the prop master.
