At the start of the last chapter of Locke & Key, all seems lost as Dodge has finally claimed the Omega Key, opened the Black Door, trapped Kinsey Locke and her classmates in the Drowning Cave, and begun to bring others of his kind into our world.  However, Tyler Locke is still free, and before facing Dodge and his minions, Tyler creates a deceptively simple key from the last bit of Whispering Iron left him by his father: the Alpha key, capable of separating a demon from the human soul it infests (although at great cost).
