In this underappreciated gem of a science fiction thriller, Agent Lloyd Gallagher pursues a malevolent alien being capable of serially infesting and taking over human bodies, using them to cut a path of random violence and destruction across Los Angeles.

Agent Lloyd is also more than he seems, though, and this strange weapon he carries can stop the marauding creature, but only in the brief moments when it is between human hosts.
