This alien scanner prop as seen in the final episode of Enterprise “These are the Voyages” was used by the Alien kidnappers to scan the Teneebian amethyst that Shran was accused of stealing.
This scanner is made from a found item – a stud finder. It was been adapted by re-wiring some lights, adding a few greebles and painting it in a screen accurate color.
