The first weapon placed in Wikus van der Merwe's mutated left hand at MNU headquarters was this formidable piece, which made quick work of a porcine cadaver. Projectiles are driven to extreme velocity by perfectly synchronized explosive bursts from each discharge tube along the length of the barrel; in effect, a rapid-fire linear accelerator rail gun, without the magnets.
