Planet of the Apes, ARMY BATTLE BOOTS FEET

The over boots are blackened squares of reptile embossed leather over black fabric and have lots of fur sticking out. The soles show zero wear. These boots look like they went through days of battle filming, then were sent to the shoe repair shop. They have had new soles attached. The inner boot (the one with the toes attached) are a pair of Body Glove brand diver booties. The over boots are an open toed design that allows the toes on the booties to show sticking through. They are obviously artfully hand made. These were designed by Colleen Atwood the Academy Award winner in 2003 and 2006 for best costume design.
The inner shoes are men's 12 USA.
The over shoes are marked as 11-12 (14.75" long overall).
There is a hand written notation inside the boots stating the actor that used these "Rich Piana #9"
