How Green Was My Valley, 20th C. Fox Antique Teapot + Other Movies

original movie prop

A wonderful 20th Century Fox antique English ceramic teapot we recently picked up that was sold as unidentified (Fox Studio markings underneath). From research we\'ve found it being used in multiple movies in the 40\'s & 50\'s including the 5-time Oscar winning John Ford classic How Green Was My Valley (1941) where the teapot was used in the movie by the Oscar nominated Sara Allgood. Love Nest (1951) with a young Marilyn Monroe, No Down Payment (1957), Holy Matrimony (1943), A Letter to Three Wives (1949), Whirlpool (1950) and Cluny Brown (1946). An interesting piece of Fox history.
