2001, A Space Odyssey, 2001 EVA suit front pack
replica movie costume
this was my first attempt to replicate the front pack.I now have a new pattern with correct measurements taken from the one sold on Profiles.
that said it was very close my eye balling was off only half an inch over all.and since the great shots of the only existing screen used piece was obtained
i updated this prototype with a new controll stick (from a recent ebay purchase of the real deal)and a reworked photo electric storage unit.

| Nice work ! I know what you mean creating my own from photos, I think I have remade parts a few times now every time I find better reference. BTW, that joystick control, what is it off, I have searched for photos, but not knowing its origin...Does it have numbers on it, what aircraft was it from? Trying to recreate in solidworks, but at a loss for reference photos.
