Pair of original BOZO THE CLOWN SHOES from the 1950s, worn by TV Bozo JIM CHAPIN of WHBQ-TV, Memphis. Chapin is wearing these shoes in the photo.

These are unusual in that the represent the early "Capitol Clown" (Capitol Records) version of Bozo, pre-Larry Harmon ownership and revamp.

These "Capitol Clown" shoes more resemble the Disney character Goofy's shoes than classic clown shoes. Coincidentally, the first Capitol Records Bozo (on the records and TV) was Pinto Colvig, who also voiced Goofy for Disney.
