Planet of the Apes, WESTERN SADDLE

This is a production BATES AUSTRALIA saddle that was modified to look more alien and ape like for use on screen. As you can see, the on camera saddles were a western style with some added molded foam sculptural modifications as well as some red leather trim added here and there. The stirrups are wrapped in the same red leather.
