This item is a carpet section produced by BMK Stoddard of Scotland;the Compagny that made the original carpets for the first class lounge and first class dining-room aboard the passenger liner RMS TITANIC.
This carpet is called « The Savonnerie » pattern and the piece of carpet was used in the making of the James Cameron’s film Titanic, during scenes in Rose’s Room.
