The Pacific, PFC Clifford "Steve" Evanson (Dwight Braswell) Costume Used In Episode 8 Iwo Jima

Steve Evanson's  (Dwight Braswell) costume used in the 2010 TV mini-series The Pacific. The costume consists of a green jacket (size 38) with USMC printed on the pocket with Evanson named inside. It can be seen worn by Dwight Braswell through each obstacle scene and when they demonstrate the machine gun with Sgt Basilone to the troops. The costume was used in Episode 8 “Iwo Jima”. This jacket can be screen matched as to threads where they cross near the upper right of the pocket, the  stitching on the collars and button holes, etc. to a Blu Ray dvd along with material patterns.

PFC Clifford "Steve" Evanson died the next night after John Basilone on Iwo Jima February 28, 1945. This wasn't in the movie but I thought I would add this bit of info of this Marine hero. He is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii.
