The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, 'Dante Beast' reference arm, used for digital animation

This sculpted and painted resin arm was used as a reference for the left arm of the "Dante Beast" effects sequence in the 2003 film "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", with Sean Connery. The "Dante Beast" sequence was created by the Tippet Studio for the production and Damon Bard is credited as Lead Dante Modeler, and Peter Konig as Dante Beast Conceptual Supervisor. Visual effects supervisor Brennan Doyle supervised the climactic battle sequence between Mr. Hyde and the CG Dante Beast.
