Serenity, "Ball Of Death"

From the final battle in Serenity. You can see these things being shot and sticking into walls. I made this shortly after the movie was released and I never got around to finishing it. I was going to stain and weather it. I made it with a baseball for the core, hammered in nails, cut off the nail heads, and covered it with with a foam sculpting material (sorry, I forget what), and a very cool shop teacher who allowed me to make way more than one potentially deadly weapon.
