This is an original Tavros Minotaur display from the 2005 fantasy adventure film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Minotaurs can be seen throughout the film as Prince Caspian’s ship the Dawn Treader has two aboard on the crew, one being Tavros. Minotaurs are a race of intelligent but aggressiv Narnian creatures, with the head, tail and rear hooves of a bull, but can stand erect like a human.
This display is mounted on a full body cast, with the main suit being made of foam latex with faux brown and black fur, and a cast in muscular section around the chest, arms and legs. It features latex hands and a animatronic head. The mask contains a number of electronics including servos and radio control receivers, and would have been operated by remote control during the production. The head features very lifelike detail including fully realized teeth, nose, and tongue; the main articulation points are the hinged jaw and eyes, the head on this display is a stunt head used by production.
This entire display stands on top of a custom display base featuring faux foliage to simulate the world of Narnia.

| What movements does the animatronic head have? Additionally, I\'m curious how many servos were used! The description makes it seem that you only have a display head, so no worries if you don\'t know the answer!
